Initially, Eileen G. Gorman learned to hand build and throw pottery, while working as a Fellow at the National Institutes of Health. Once joining a major corporation and working full time, she continued to pursue my art, primarily as a way to renew my spirit, while climbing the corporate ladder. Gorman continued to improve my skills with evening classes, workshops, and ambitious projects. Her goal was to make sculptures based on nature and large landscapes.For many years, her art career was totally separate from my science and business career. However, in the last ten years, she has devoted more time to my ceramic creations and art training. While operating at the interface between art and science may seem confusing to some, they seem ripe with new possibilities to me. Gorman's abstract landscapes have been shown in 5 museum group shows and are in private and public collections in the US and Mexico.
